Equipment: Computer with reliable Internet access, Microsoft Word processor and Excel spreadsheet software. A calculator, paper and pencils will also prove to be handy. For that matter, your fine mind and your ability to communicate can also be considered to be equipment necessary for this course!

First time online students may want to take the self assessment, developed by The Boeing Company and Washington Online Virtual Campus. Learn to Learn was designed to help students be successful in their online courses by providing information on computers, web technology and online study skills. This is a class that is delivered using the tools of the Internet, the World Wide Web, as well as standard business software, such as spreadsheets and word processors. You should be familiar with these tools before taking this course. Please review that assessment prior to beginning this course. If you have any questions about these prerequisites, please discuss them with me as soon as possible.

We will be using the Canvas software for our virtual classroom.

First Things: The FIRST THINGS you need to do are to check-in for the class by sending me, via email, an attached word file that contains your backup plan of how you will continue your uninterrupted participation in this class in the event your computer breaks or your internet service provider is not available.
