Purpose:  The purpose of this test is to make sure you have mastered enough skills with ratios and proportions, systems of linear equations and inequalities, linear functions, polynomials, quadratic functions, and exponential functions for you to be successful later on - in the rest of this course and in subsequent math, science and other courses. 

Tasks: 

• Please read each question carefully twice. 
• Please show all of your work for each question. 
• Please write your answers clearly and type them in the spaces provided.
• Please draw a picture or diagram if needed - the questions instructions will guide you. 
• Please check your answer for each question.

Criteria:  Each question will show how many points it is worth.  If you type the incorrect answer you might also receive some "attempt" points if your work for the question shows that you are "on the right track" or close to correct.  So please make sure to write down all of your work for each question neatly and clearly on your paper in order to get the best possible grade.
